This all began in 2022 when Rebecca was a fresh face in Maryland, after moving from the middle of the Mid-Atlantic Region to its southern reaches. Over the course of years, this passion project remained on the "back burner," as first and foremost, Rebecca always considered herself a clinician.
​
In May of 2026, like many others in the United States, Rebecca was a part of a reduction in force (RIF). Losing her employment shone a light on this project and the potential to provide education and awareness outside of the clinical role.
​
Rebecca (bex) Bergh is a music therapist who has been practicing since 2014. She holds a bachelor's in music therapy & a master's in music therapy and counseling. With this training, bex has worked in spectrum of care facilities facilitating group and individual therapy sessions. It's from this expertise, skill, and solidarity with folks from all walks of life that she approaches this new venture.
